Guest Post: Simply Homemade – and Crafty Giveaway!

Christmas is one of the best times to craft and when Simply Homemade asked for a Christmas pattern, I immediately said yes. So following on from Amy Tangerine‘s Four Calling Birds and ahead of Lady Nom’s Six Geese a-Laying, come my Five Gold Rings.

Of all my Christmas knits, this pattern has been one of the most fun to do – it’s rather easy, so suitable for a beginner who can only knit (you don’t even need to know how to purl) and so long as you can tie a knot and sew in your ends, you’re done.

As a little addition to this, I also have the bits and pieces you need to make this bracelet (or something else if you prefer!) – this is one ball of Twilleys Goldfingering yarn in gold and one in silver, a set of 3.5mm knitting needles and a sewing needle for finishing.
